TransLink has launched public engagement on a proposed Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) route between Metrotown and the North Shore—and your voice matters. Public engagement will be open until September 21, 2025.
This new service promises fast, reliable connections with dedicated bus lanes, signal priority, and weather-protected stations. Once complete, it’s expected to serve 60,000 daily riders, connecting more than 85,000 households and 100,000 jobs along the route.
Two Route Options
Option 1: Connecting via Hastings Street and Willingdon Avenue.
Option 2: Connecting via Boundary Road and Lougheed Highway.
Each route has unique benefits and trade-offs, from access to businesses and transit connections to parking and lane adjustments.
