The North Vancouver Chamber has proudly initiated a range of policy recommendations that gained Provincial and National Chamber support:

• Reducing Electricity Bills for Small Business & Non-Profits in BC (2025)
• Reduction of Inter-Provincial Trade Barriers (2025)
• Protection of Industrial Lands for Future Prosperity (renewed 2025)
• Supporting Canada’s Steel-making Coal Industry (renewed 2025)
• Businesses & Communities Win when we BUILD NEW FERRIES IN BC (2024)
• INVESTMENT IN BC SENIOR CARE (2023)

Archive Policies – The following NV Chamber led policy recommendations were adopted at BC Chamber AGM, but have been retired after 3 years. Many of these have driven responses and action from the Provincial government on the issues we raised.

As a business, you don’t vote. But as a taxpayer, your opinion matters. We bring you closer to those who represent you:

• Meeting electoral candidates   Federal, Provincial  and Municipal elections  Example: Most recent Federal & Provincial Elections – we met with all Candidates from all parties and shared your priorities. We provided a chance for you to meet the candidates at the Election Mixer. We were the only organization able to attract ALL candidates to our event.
• Ongoing dialogue with elected officials such as: Conversation with the MLAs
• Post Budget Overview – Federal & Provincial representatives review budget
