The NV Chamber is staunchly non-partisan, but we take every opportunity to share the priorities of member businesses and other employers in North Vancouver with those who can influence change.

So in that spirit, we welcomed the request for a visit to our NV Chamber office on Sept 22, 2023 from local BC United MLA, Karin KirkPatrick, and party leader Kevin Falcon.

Discussion focused on the key business priorities of the NV Chamber membership, such as Investment in Public Transportation, Affordable Housing, and the labour shortage. We also covered other topics such as tourism, commercial property assessment, climate change, taxes and many others. BC Chamber policies were also discussed, especially those advanced by the NV Chamber such as our Policy Resolution adopted in 2023 at the BC Chamber AGM, “ Investment in Senior care – The Economic Impact of the Silver Tsunami “.

We regularly connect with our local elected officials and welcome any opportunity to share our business priorities at any level; Municipal, Provincial and Federal.  Tell Us what matters to you and your business.
