MUNICIPAL ELECTION 2026: Candidates respond to key business issues

By

Maria Spitale-Leisk

Transportation and the cost of doing business remain important issues for North Vancouver’s business community. As part of the North Vancouver Chamber’s efforts to engage members and the community in the democratic process, we invited mayoral and council candidates for both North Vancouver municipalities to respond to two questions on these issues.

Candidates were asked to provide responses of no more than 200 words per question. Equal opportunity was provided to all candidates to participate, and the responses below are those received by the Chamber by the stated deadline. They are presented in alphabetical order by first name.

We encourage the business community to review the responses to learn more about the candidates’ perspectives and priorities for North Vancouver.
