From transportation and housing affordability to trade and the cost of doing business, the conversation explored the key challenges facing our community and the role our next MP can play in addressing them.

We were pleased to host the Federal By-Election All-Candidates Meeting on August 19 at St. Andrew’s United Church. NV Chamber hosts Conversation with Federal Transport Minister
We were pleased to host the Honourable Steven MacKinnon, Minister of Transport, for a timely discussion on Canada’s transportation future and what it means for businesses here on the North Shore.
There was great energy in the room as business and community leaders came together to hear directly from the Minister and participate in a Q&A. North Van Chamber connects with Port of Vancouver at annual Port Day
We enjoyed attending the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority’s annual Port Day at Canada Place and connecting with President and CEO, Peter Xotta. As Canada’s largest port, the Port of Vancouver plays a vital role in supporting our economy and keeping the movement of goods flowing across Canada and around the world. We’re proud to have the Port Authority as a great partner of the North Vancouver Chamber and look forward to continuing to work together to support a strong, connected business community.
NV Chamber visit to North Shore Studios
Our CEO Jonathan Mosley was treated to a tour of North Shore Studios by President Amy Lang in August. It was great to hear how North Shore Studios generates significant local economic activity by attracting film and television productions, creating jobs, and supporting a wide network of local businesses and suppliers.
