The North Vancouver Chamber has proudly initiated a range of policy recommendations that gained Provincial and National Chamber support:

Archive Policies – The following NV Chamber led policy recommendations were adopted at BC Chamber AGM, but have been retired after 3 years. Many of these have driven responses and action from the Provincial government on the issues we raised.

iii. Connecting with Elected Officials.

As a business, you don’t vote. But as a taxpayer, your opinion matters. We bring you closer to those who represent you:

  • Meeting electoral candidates   Federal, Provincial  and Municipal elections  Example: Most recent Federal & Provincial Elections – we met with all Candidates from all parties and shared your priorities. We provided a chance for you to meet the candidates at the Election Mixer. We were the only organization able to attract ALL candidates to our event.
  • Ongoing dialogue with elected officials such as: Conversation with the MLAs
  • Post Budget Overview – Federal & Provincial representatives review budget
