What is the Youth Elevate Program?
This government-funded program initiative is designed to empower youth aged 15-30 by providing them with the essential skills and experience needed to thrive in today’s competitive job market. The participants have already completed a comprehensive five-week employment skills training program, which has equipped them with valuable workplace skills and a deep understanding of Canadian workplace culture and expectations.
Now, Impact North Shore is looking for local employers to partner with them and provide 10-week, full-time (30 hours/week), paid job placements for these motivated, pre-trained individuals. The program covers their wages at $17.40 per hour, reducing your hiring costs while offering youth the chance to gain meaningful work experience.
