We are pleased to announce our 2017/2018 North Vancouver Chamber Board of Directors. Congratulations to our three new board members, who were recently voted for two year terms by acclamation, effective July 2017 – June 2019:
Gonzalo Benitez, Vice President, Finance and Administration, Neptune Terminals:
Gonzalo A. Benitez (CPA, CGA) joined Neptune Bulk Terminals (Canada) in 2003 as Vice President Finance & Administration. Prior to joining Neptune he served as Controller of GE Harris Energy Control Systems in Calgary, AB between 1991 and 2001 and as Director of Finance of Epic Data from 2001 – 2003 in Richmond, BC. He is President of the Waterfront Employers of BC, a member of the Audit and Finance Committee of the British Columbia Maritime Employers Association and is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors. Gonzalo served as a Director of the Chamber between 2007 and 2014 and was Chair of the Chamber Board in 2012-2013.
Mazdak Mohammadi, owner, BlueberryCloud:
Mazdak Mohammadi is the owner of BlueberryCloud, a digital marketing company, and has been helping small businesses do better on the Internet since 2015. Mazdak graduated from BCIT in 2011 with a Diploma of Technology specializing in Computer Information Technology. Prior to creating BlueberryCloud, Mazdak spent close to four years at Intranet Connections helping them with the sales, deployment and support of their B2B communication solution. Mazdak is proud member of the North Vancouver community and wishes to help the community maximize its potential for current and future residents.
Jodi Westbury, Director of Marketing Communications, Grouse Mountain Resorts:
Jodi is the Director of Marketing and Communications for Grouse Mountain Resorts. She joined Grouse Mountain in 2010 after working for Tourism Whistler in progressive marketing and product development roles. Jodi’s experience also includes roles within advertising agency, airline, telecomm and retail. Jodi is a graduate of UBC’s Sauder School of Business (MBA) and the University of Calgary (BA, Communications). Outside of work Jodi enjoys reading, road cycling, hiking, canoeing, wine tasting and skiing. Jodi is an active Alumna of Alpha Gamma Delta where she serves as Finance Advisor to the UBC undergraduate chapter.
