The North Vancouver Chamber was pleased to host the Federal By-Election All-Candidates Meeting on August 19 at St. Andrew’s United Church in North Vancouver.
Candidates for North Vancouver–Capilano joined a strong turnout of engaged community members for an important conversation ahead of the upcoming federal by-election on August 31.
Moderated by North Vancouver Chamber CEO Jonathan Mosley, the discussion focused on several of the key issues shaping our community and economy, including affordable housing and transportation. These are longstanding priorities for the local business community and have consistently emerged as key concerns in the North Vancouver Chamber’s member survey.
It was inspiring to see so many people come together to listen, learn and take an active interest in the issues that matter to North Vancouver. Events like this provide an important opportunity for residents, businesses and the broader community to hear directly from candidates and engage in the democratic process.
A sincere thank you to all of the candidates for participating in this important conversation, and to everyone who attended and contributed to such a strong evening of community engagement.
We would also like to thank our Media Partner, the North Shore News, for their support, as well as the staff at St. Andrew’s United Church for helping create such a welcoming space.
