The Chamber recently welcomed members & guests to the Pinnacle Hotel at the Pier for an engaging look at the latest global and regional economic forecast. Derek Burleton, one of Canada’s most respected economists and keynote, provided the group with an enlightening perspective on the Global Economic and Canadian Market outlook, touching on subjects such as Brexit, global banking, and provincial budgets.
Congratulations to our door prize winners Tom Klausen from First Vancouver Finance and Mazdak Mohammadi from Blueberry Cloud. Prizes were generously donated by Golftec North Vancouver and the Vancouver Whitecaps FC. Karmen Blackwood from Capilano University was named the afternoon’s Top Tweeter, and took home a bottle of wine for her efforts.
