CHAMBER IN ACTION: A taste of where we’ve been and who has paid a visit over the past few weeks …
Happy B.C. Tourism Week 2025!
Tourism plays a vital role in supporting our economy and community. Visitors from around the world (and around the corner!) help fuel local businesses and create jobs. Shoutout to our Silver Annual Partner, Vancouver’s North Shore Tourism Association, for bringing industry leaders together for a celebratory photo—a great reminder of the strong collaboration that keeps our community thriving!
Growing connections at Loutet Park & Farm!
It was nice to see new and familiar faces during our monthly Walk & Talk at Loutet Park & Farm. If you haven’t experienced outdoor networking, it’s a great way to meet fellow NV Chamber members in a relaxed, natural setting. Thank you to PARC Retirement Living for sponsoring this Walk & Talk! See you next month at Seylynn Park! Register: nvchamber.ca/events
Meet the Federal Candidates Mixer!
Ahead of the federal election, we gave NV Chambers members to chance to meet one-on-one with election candidates from North Vancouver-Capilano and Burnaby North-Seymour and ask their questions.
We heard from you through our Federal Election Business Survey and voiced the key issues facing our community to MP candidates in North Vancouver ridings.
WATCH: Understanding Neurodiversity in the Workplace
We invited NV Chamber member Rachel Forbes, Executive Director, LDS – Learn. Develop. Succeed., for a webinar to help businesses better understand neurodiversity in the workplace. Employee hiring, retention, and workplace culture are all areas where you can make a difference. Watch the webinar.
Business After 5: In the Raw Pet Food
We had a pawsitively good time at In The Raw Pet Food, playing with pet toys and checking out the selection of 100 per cent Canadian food for Fido and Felix! Our thanks to Federico and Rebeca for hosting NV Chamber members for our latest Business After 5!
HMCS Corner Brook in our sights
We had a good vantage point for spotting Royal Canadian Navy submarine HMCS Corner Brook moored at Burrard Dry Dock Pier. So cool to see this down the street from our office!
Golestan Bakery delivers sweet treats!

Look who dropped by our office — Pam and Lizzie! Pam Chilton is a longtime NV Chamber member and owner of architectural design and consulting firm, Zimba Design.
Summer in the City!
Our street seats are back and that can only mean one thing: Summer is coming! Thanks to City of North Vancouver employees Andy and Kevin for the great setup, and the Play CNV team for enlivening our street! Stop by the 100-block of West First Street for an ice cream or doughnut and support local!
