The North Vancouver Chamber is pleased to announce the appointment of Patrick Stafford-Smith to the position of CEO.

Mr. Stafford-Smith has been the Interim CEO at the North Vancouver Chamber in recent months.  He has also been the Chief Development Officer and the driving force behind the Economic Partnership North Vancouver (EPNV). A program of the North Vancouver Chamber, EPNV is a collaborative partnership between business, first nations and governments in North Vancouver that was developed to help business and facilitate long-term economic growth and prosperity for the region.

Patrick Stafford-Smith has senior management and business consulting experience across corporate, the public sector and entrepreneurial organizations. He’s provided mentorship to business owners and leaders through his own consulting business, and has previously worked in Operations and Marketing management positions with technology ventures and engineering firms. Patrick previously served as Vice President of the Squamish Chamber of Commerce. He’s also actively involved in several community-based non-profits. Patrick holds an MBA from UBC and a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from McGill University.  He also holds a Professional Engineering designation in BC.

“Patrick’s vision and experience in corporate and non-profit organizations is going to be very beneficial to the North Vancouver Chamber,” said Chair of the Board Mehdi Shokri in a statement.  “He’s going to hit the ground running as he already has strong connections and credibility in North Vancouver, Metro Vancouver, and the province. We are looking forward to continuing, and building upon, the great work that the Chamber has done to drive and support businesses and economic development in North Vancouver.”

Mr. Stafford-Smith, who will continue to serve as Chief Development Officer of the EPNV program, will take on the role of CEO effective immediately.
