Rethinking Housing, Transportation & Employment

We enjoyed a stimulating discussion at the NV Chamber’s Building it Right: Let’s talk Land Use event February 12th. Keynote Speaker & panelist Dr. Paul Kershaw, policy professor in the UBC School of Population & Public Health, and Founder of Generation Squeeze, delivered a dynamic presentation on rethinking housing, transportation & employment, with insights on zoning, parking, transit, and the public consultation process, – to make the North Shore work for all generations. Fellow panelists Michael Epp, Director, Planning, City of NV, Dan Milburn, GM, Planning, Properties & Permits Approving Officer, District of NV, and Armin Amrolia of BC Housing joined in the conversation.

A big thank you to the many Sponsors and Supporters of this event and to all those who attended. As a leading resource for local business, the NV Chamber will continue to host these discussions on issues of importance to our local economy. Let us know what you’d like to discuss.
