Leading up to the Municipal Elections on October 20 here are some resources to help you vote informed…

Over 100 people responded to our recent Pre-Election Survey. Responses to this and other surveys throughout the year help us better understand what the most important issues are for North Vancouver businesses. Key areas of focus and challenge were identified highlighting where business needs support from the new councils. The results were released at our recent Municipal Pre-Election Mixer, where businesses and Candidates had a chance to talk about the issues one-on-one.

Along with the survey, we offered all Councillor and Mayoral Candidates an opportunity to share their responses to 5 questions on key issues via a feature on our website called Candidate Corner. 45 Candidates submitted responses; 26 out of 30 running for the City of North Vancouver and 19 out of 23 running for the District of North Vancouver.

Additionally, we are part of We Vote North Shore; a coalition of organizations that believe in citizen engagement including the importance of voting in democratic elections. We are collectively working to encourage non-partisan voter education and engagement including distributing non-partisan voting information to the public.
