Emergency Preparedness (EP) Week is May 4–10. Is your business prepared?
The theme for this year’s provincial campaign is “In it together,” which encourages individuals, neighbours, organizations, etc., to work together to respond and recover better.
Small businesses, of which there are many in North Vancouver, are especially vulnerable to the impacts of disaster.
Emergencies and disasters are inevitable. The question is not if they will happen, but when. While it is impossible to know the specifics ahead of time, using the best available information to plan for what might happen is the most effective way to be prepared for what does happen.
Well-prepared businesses are better able to survive a disaster and protect their employees and operations.
