The Presentation House Theatre has been one of the premier providers of theatrical programming in North Vancouver for more than thirty years. Productions are intimate, diverse and support the development of the performing arts in the community.
Centennial Theatre is home to the North Shore Light Opera, Uncle Randy Productions, Lions Gate Sinfonia, the Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival, the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, and many more organizations. It also hosts local schools, dance schools, cultural organizations and national touring productions.
Deep Cove Stage Society
The Deep Cove Stage Society performs in the Shaw Theatre, nestled in North Vancouver’s Deep Cove. This community theatre group puts on several productions a year, including their extremely popular annual Christmas pantomime.

Presentation House Gallery
For more than 30 years, the Presentation House Gallery has been home to various exhibitions of photographic art including acclaimed local photographers Stan Douglas and Fred Herzog to world-renowned artists Ansel Adams and Andy Warhol. It is known as one of Canada’s most adventurous and highly respected public art galleries.
Public Art Walking Tours
North Vancouver boasts more than 100 works of public art that can be found in libraries, along nature trails, in parks, and in plazas. Each original piece is reflective of North Vancouver’s heritage and culture. Take a self-guided walking tour and discover them all!
Seymour Art Gallery
The Seymour Art Gallery is a non-profit public gallery in the heart of North Vancouver’s Deep Cove. The gallery welcomes more than 25,000 visitors every year. They offer a variety of exhibitions and performance events including music, artist demonstrations and interactive art-making.
Lonsdale Quay Farmers Market
The Lonsdale Quay Farmer’s Market takes place every Saturday morning on the East Plaza of Lonsdale Quay. Stroll the boardwalk and enjoy a great selection of vendors selling everything from baked goods, fresh produce and jams, to jewelry, pottery, and art. There is also a book exchange, reading area, and live music.
Loutet Farm is a sustainable social enterprise founded as a partnership between North Shore Neighbourhood House, the City of North Vancouver, and the University of British Columbia. The goal is to help educate residents and encourage them to become involved in local food production. Bi-weekly Farm Gate Sales provides the opportunity for residents to buy plant-to-plate produce grown right here in North Vancouver.
The Shipyard’s Night Market
Named one of Metro Vancouver’s best night markets, the Shipyard’s Night Market takes place every Friday night from May to September in Lower Lonsdale’s Shipbuilder’s Square. The Market features a farmer’s and artisan’s marketplace, as well as a beverage garden, a variety of local food trucks and live entertainment.
