Summer Soiree
The North Vancouver Chamber's colourful Caribbean themed Summer
Soiree, in cooperation with the Trinidad and Tobago Cultural Society of
BC, was held Wednesday, July 22nd at the Tantra Waterfront Lounge.
Without the help of sponsors the Chamber would not have
been able to
produce such a wonderful event, where everyone had a great time. The
Chamber would like to thank the
Lonsdale Quay Market and Vancouver's North Shore Tourism Association.
The Chamber would also like to thank Kenton Photography for capturing
the special moments (please click here to see the photos) and Sweet Cravings for the Caribbean flavoured
cupcakes.
It was a perfect location to welcome the new Board, new members,
celebrate members who had reached milestones in their membership and
to help kick off the
Caribbean Days Festival, one of the North Shore's summer highlights.
With the
sun sparkling on the waters of Burrard Inlet and the musical sounds of
the Caribbean provided by Bernard Fernandes and his Sweet Pan band,
City of North Vancouver Mayor Mussatto and District of North Vancouver
Councillor and Acting Mayor Bassam were able to swear in the new
Chamber Board.
