Gonzalo Benitez joined Neptune Bulk Terminals as Vice President Finance and Administration in February 2003 following a ten year career as Controller of the Substation Automation business unit of General Electric Company in Calgary. Prior to his service with GE Mr Benitez worked for fifteen years with Microtel Limited, the manufacturing subsidiary of BC Telephone Company (now Telus Communications) in Burnaby where he held progressively senior financial positions. Mr. Benitez received a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia in 1978 and became a Certified General Accountant in 1987.
